Loaded Banana Pops

Looking for a way to top off your hot summer with a cool treat ? How about you cool off with this fun (& healthy) loaded banana Popsicle ! This recipe is loaded with nutritients, so you won't have to worry about the post-indulgence guilt !

Ingredients

  • 2-3 Bananas

  • Chocolate Coconut Peanut Butter

  • Bee Pollen 

  • Goji Berries 

  • Pumpkin Granola 

  • Strawberries 

  • Almonds 

  • Coconut Flakes 

  • Cacao Sweet Nibs 

  • Popsicle Sticks 

Prep Time : 5-15 minutes


Step by Step

Step 1: Peel each banana and cut them in equal halves. Then line them up in one row for easier access.

Step 2: Place popsicle sticks or rounded dowels at the end of each banana . This will make it easier to grab and prep.

Step 3: Spread the chocolate coconut peanut butter over each banana. It can be as much as you want . As you see, some of the bananas have more of the chocolate peanut butter spread than others.

Step 4: Once you have finished spreading the chocolate coconut peanut butter over all of your bananas, prepare the toppings. You may choose as many toppings as you desire. I placed each topping in a small separate bowl, so it would be easier to pour onto each banana.

Step 5:  Now you are able to spread the toppings. Depending on the amount of chocolate coconut peanut butter, you may have to use more or less of each topping. My aim was to have some banana pops with few toppings and a couple loaded with plenty of toppings.

Step 6: This step is optional. You can either eat the banana pops once you finish spreading the toppings or you can place them in the freezer overnight to enjoy loaded banana-popsicles ! Either way you will enjoy it !!

  • Bee Pollen proves to be therapeutic because it is full of lipids, amino acids, flavonoids and nutrients. These properties make it ideal as an antibacterial, antioxidant and anti tumor product.

  • Goji Berry is a super food full of nutrition including carotenoids, antioxidants, polysaccharides, and vitamin C & E. These properties are key in the decrease of signs of aging and fatigue.

  • Strawberry, a fruit that is full of flavonoids, catechin, quercetin and more. These constituents are important for anti-inflammatory processes throughout the body !

  • Almonds are full of protein, sterols, vitamin A, B-complexes, and E, amino acids. These constituents work hard in preserving energy and controlling fat levels in the blood !

  • Cacao Sweet Nibs is a super food that serves us flavanols, polyphenols, and magnesium perfect for reducing free radical activity in the body and protecting the heart!
